First grade market was a SUCCESS!

Moore first graders have been studying goods and services and the differences between them. With the guidance of teachers Mrs. Manroe, Mrs. Petersen, and Mrs. Booth Moore’s three first grades hosted a market today to sell both goods and services to classmates, staff and parents. The market was also a great tool to learn how we exchange money for good and services. Items were available for purchase for one ticket. Before entering the market guests purchased tickets for one dollar each.

There were also services for sale at the market. Interested in getting your nails painted? How about a cartwheel/gymnastics lesson? First graders could help you out with  that as well!
