Thanks to increased enrollment across the district, along with population trends in Beaverdale and other parts of northwest Des Moines, DMPS is re-opening Moore to provide additional classrooms as well as more educational options for Des Moines families. Stay tuned for more information.

Before Moore Elementary School re-opens in the Fall of 2015, it will undergo a $6.6 million renovation that will provide everything from a new gymnasium to upgrades to technology and security systems. Click the architectural drawing at least to see more about the improvements coming to Moore.
The first day of Kindergarten 2015-2016 will be here before you know it! Kindergarten sign-up is on March 11 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. DMPS preschool students and students with older siblings in the district can sign up to attend Moore Elementary at Woodlawn Learning Center. New students should contact the Welcome Center at 242-7371.
