Moore Elementary is going on a field trip!

The whole building is going to the Civic Center on Monday, February 12th to see “Creole for Kidz.” In this interactive performance designed especially for kids, Grammy Award-winner Terrance Simien entertains and educates about the Creole culture of south Louisiana through spirited Zydeco music. Give your students an unforgettable multicultural experience as they explore Zydeco’s unique fusion of African, French, Spanish, and Native American musical styles.

Permission slips will be coming home soon and must be returned by February 1st. If you would like to turn in your slip early, please click here. You can email it to heather.jacobus@dmschools.org or have your child return it to their teacher.
