It’s Official! Moore is an IB World School


Years of hard work has paid off as Moore Elementary School is now officially an International Baccalaureate World School. This is a great educational opportunity for our students and families. DMPS was the first school district in Iowa to offer IB, and 11 out of the 15 IB schools in Iowa are right here in Des Moines. Click the headline to read more about this exciting news for Moore.


The Parents and Friends of Moore will be having Movie Night on Thursday November 15th. They will be showing the movie “Coco”. Movie starts at 5:30 pm in the gym and popcorn will be provided! Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian!

Garden Club


Moore students have been busy helping tend to our garden! Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Marlow have been helping students after school clean up and harvest vegetables from the Moore Garden!
