Music Producer Visit

Local hip-hop producer and performer Exo-152 (Edward Morales) brought the art of sampling and mixing music to 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students at Moore.  Exo-152 shared with students how his musical preferences influence the music he creates by taking a song he likes and isolating a small portion of that song to mix live in front of students.  With the “mobile beat lab” set up in the music room students were able to use professional equipment to create their own beats from the isolated sample Exo-152 provided.
