Congratulations to our Battle of the Books group! They did an awesome job placing 6th at the Battle of the Books competition! We even had one student that read ALL 40 books! Go Moore!

It’s National School Breakfast Week and the Power Panther came to visit Moore Elementary for breakfast! Kids were greeted by Power Panther and his friends for breakfast!

Beach Day! Spirit Week continued with “Wear your favorite beach attire”. All kids were provided a fun lei to celebrate! Check out the creative outfits!

Chess Club at Moore! We are so lucky to have our previous AmeriCorp worker come to Moore to have a Chess Club! Many students participate and can’t wait for Chess Club day!

3rd Grade had a visitor from Des Moines Park and Rec on Tuesday, Feb. 12th! He came to teach the kids how to Snow Shoe! The kids had such a blast!
