Moore students have been busy helping tend to our garden! Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Marlow have been helping students after school clean up and harvest vegetables from the Moore Garden!  

Years of hard work has paid off as Moore Elementary School is now officially an International Baccalaureate World School. This is a great educational opportunity for our students and families. DMPS was the first school district in Iowa to offer IB, and 11 out of the 15 IB schools in Iowa are right here in Des Moines. Click the headline to read more about this exciting news for Moore.

Our new 2018-2018 school year will begin with new school hours! Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday = 7:30 am to 2:25 pm. Doors will open at 7:20 am for breakfast. NO Boys and Girls Club in am. Wednesday …

The school bell times at Moore will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays.
